"I've learned a lot. It changed my life. I am behaving better and I'm more positive. I was forced to leave Guguletu campus because of finance. But then I realise that I've learned something from MOT about achieving goals and that motivated me to try again and I registered at Northlink College, Belhar campus where I'm studying now - Because of MOT."
"Dear MOT, I have done an upholstery course and unfortunately I did not achieve my goal. My future plan is to go work for a couple of years, save money so that I can go back and finish my skill. By coming to MOT sessions, I see that I can reach each and every goal I set and make the good out of it. I just wish we could do it every week maybe my mind would be out of the streets of Guguletu."
"Dear MOT, I have done and achieved in art and design studies 3 years back. This year I am planning to teach/volunteer teaching people what I've learned and I plan to open my own business where I could sell my art work to the community. My impression is to teach to learn. "I love the MOT programme because it has developed myself, I see things different now and I take my studies very seriously. I use to think I cannot do better, that I am useless and that there is nothing that I can achieve in life. I almost gave up on studying when the college kicked me off because I did not get a bursary to pay my funds and my parents could not afford to pay for me, but MOT made me to realise that it is not the end of the road I can still apply to other colleges. Look at me now, I am studying chasing up my dream to become a carpenter. THANK YOU MOT you guys are the best!!!"
